I bought a Renault Scenic handbrake module from bright-future-carparts in September 2024 and had a fitted with all new cables etc. to ensure all was good. All went well but on 3rd January 2025 we heard a sound and the handbrake failed and the dash lit up. Long story short, the cable had snapped. I contacted the seller about this and we then decided to get another car. In December we decided to pass the car to our son as his car failed. We contacted the seller and so started a painful dialogue and it is still ongoing and they are not replying now. I have tried to contact eBay as well but that is a total waste of time. We have spent £200 on something that has failed and no-one is interested. How do we sort this, please? Any help gratefully received.

eBay won't help. They only allow 30 days for claims and don't get involved with warranties. You could contact your payment provider and see if they can help with a refund or chargeback but could be too late for them too. Or try money claim online (previously small claims court):

Good luck.
