Why does eBay sucks in 2025?

Honestly if I knew it was still full of scammers and fake acpxunts, I wouldn't have even wasted my time.

eBay took away 3 and 5 day sales on vehicles. So I've had to list it for 7 days. After 7 days a fake accounts wins the bids. They haven't even contacted me. They're at 2 stars from 2023.

A few questions 

1. Why isn't eBay doing IP bans and getting rid of the scammers and fake accounts and also the main accounts.

2. Why should I wait 4 days extra until I can report the account as fake and cancel the item for none payment?.

4 extra days on top of my 7 days I was forced to list the van for.

eBay is trash now. Its a terrible dead site In my opinion. no one wants to use it anymore. What made it worse, is I contacted eBay and hour ago to complain about the fake account winning and eBay hung up on me. yeah, eBay hung up the phone call on me because even ebay staff can't be bothered to deal with fake accounts.

I'm in 100% agreement. It's easier to use amazon or Facebook. eBay is dead site. It's barely hanging on. I personally don't want to use eBay ever again. It's terrible.

List as a classified ad on eBay

It's just a £25 one off fee, nothing else to pay

The listing doesn't end until the buyer pays and picks up the vehicle

Listing as an auction means you pay more in fees and have hassle with scammers

I needed the van gone with in 48 hours. I don't have time to waste wasting on eBay. If I knew eBay was this bad. I would have drove the van to scrapyard and got £300 back than waste my time with eBay. It's a dead site. It's honestly is terrible. eBay might as well just close down becIse they're forcing their sellers and buyers to other platforms with how they're running this site into the ground.

I agree, after nearly 20 years im off, last listing was another scrapper I had, blocked so many buyers and ended up with non paying tnuc gnikcuf (read backwards) I would go round and drive the scrapper through his house but the address is probably fake too.

Waste of time, waste of money, full of scammers, cheats, non payers, thick *bleep*s.
