someone is sending me an offer message to contact them via whatsapp with the phone number

I think someone is trying to get into my account. they have sent me an offer message asking to contact them via whatsapp and writing the phone number with a space bar between each number. The account has no purchase history and is registered in Malaysia. I can't contact ebay security atm...what does anyone think? I'm not going to repsond to the message.

Add them to your blocked lixt and don't respond.

Quite a few people have had these sort of messages from members in Malaysia.

To access your Blocked Bidders List click on this link: https://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAP.dll?BidderBlockLogin and you should be able to get to the necessary page. When you get to the correct page you'll see a big white box on the screen. Add the buyer's User ID to the white box and then click on the blue "Submit" button beneath the white box. Once you have done this the person in question will not be able to bid on any of your listings or purchase anything you've got listed using the Buy It Now format.
