hello I was charged £39,98 by support@ebay.uk. Don't really recognise this transaction. Can you please help me understanding this?

Keyboard sounds like the answer, why didn't you look at your invoice, the fees all are detailed. Sold for £400 10% is £40 but sometimes it is not exact.

Thank you for your help. I didn't recognise the email address support@ebay.uk (I've never seen ebay.uk before...) so I suspected something. Of course I could be wrong and need to check the invoice. Thanks.

By "you were charged" do you mean that you received an email asking for this payment? If so, it sounds fake as ebay.uk isn't a valid eBay email address.

If the money was taken from the funding source you registered for payment of selling fees, start by getting an itemised breakdown of your invoice here: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/invoice-display.html.
