I've been getting a bit disillusioned with eBay's attitude to scams and bad business practice recently.
- Was looking at a kids bike for my son, there is a current listing for twenty "Islabike Cnoc 14" at a buy it now price about 2/3rds of the going rate. The picture was stolen from another listing which has now completed. They claim to have 20 second hand bikes in identical colour and condition, which they will ship to you via Royal Mail second class. It is a long dormant account that just started selling multiple items "buy it now" with negative FB's starting to come in for non-supply. I reported it both via the page and phone call but nothing has been done. They have since sold another 7 bikes. Yes, the people buying are idiots but I just don't understand eBays attitude.
Have a couple of other examples but to be honest I just can't be bothered any more, in each case I've reported it to eBay and was ignored. It will just feed into the "I bought one thing from eBay and was scammed" attitude that seems to becoming common amongst the general populace.
