Hoover had wrong fuse and gave me an electric shock

I received a hoover yesterday and it gave me an electric shock and fused my electrics.  When I looked at the plug it was a 3amp fuse, not a 13amp.  I strongly believe it is counterfiet. 

I have contacted the seller and am awaiting response.  It's far too big to take to the post office and have asked them to send the courier to pick it up.  

Be very careful when ordering electrical items.

You have to open a Not As Described Case if you really want to do anything about it. Just asking them to pick up is hardly likely to work.

You should report to trading standards, if it is a Business Seller. If a Private Seller then not a lot you can do except use the Money Back Guarantee and of course leave feedback.

williamson2049 ??? What fuse is needed surely depends of the wattage of the item. Plus the OP believes the item to be counterfeit

williamson - it said 13amp on plug and there is a notice inside to say that they change all plugs on hoovers (why?). I don't want anyone to get injured and it is illegal to sell dangerous items.

The actual hoover does not pick up and feels more like a toy hoover. Thank you for comments.
