Hello
Sold a Ps4, perfect condition, worked well before I advertised it on ebay, well packaged too.
The buyer is now asking for a refund and return the console because it cant get it to work!
I have accepted the return but I now have my doubt, how can I find what a buyer sell on ebay?
tried to type his ebay name in the advanced search with no results. He has more than 2600
stars.
I would appreciate people's thought, thank you.
EBay doesn't even see the items involved in disputes, and if they can't tell who has the valid case they require the seller to refund the buyer. So you don't have any choice about accepting "not as described" returns. If you refuse, eBay will enforce a refund and - unless you have sent the buyer a prepaid return label - let them keep the item as well.
I'm not clear what this has to do with items that your buyer may be selling? You can see what they're selling or have sold by looking at their feedback page. But it's likely that like many members, myself included, they may use separate accounts for buying and selling.
A buyer does not have to sell under the same ID, many have a separate ID for selling and there is no way to find out what it is.
If they sell under the same ID you just click see Seller's Items for Sale, you can also look at FEEDBACK RECEIVED AS A SELLER. The search for SELLER does not work, you have to use buyer, but completely unnecessary as you have the buyers details.
As Far as the Return goes, if the buyer opened the Correct Return that is NOT AS DESCRIBED you have no choice, if you don't provide a Reply Paid Return Label, ebay will at your expense, you get a defect and no refund of the selling fee, and refund will be made on return.
In the worst circumstances, refunds have been made and buyer not required to return.
