Reporting it does not work, still live 1 week later despite multiple reporting by my customers.
Is it corona virus that is slowing things up?
In the old days ylou could ring or mail separately, now it is just hard work.
Thanks.
Thank you for your answers.
It may be politic for me to add some flesh to this. The current fraudulent lister is using my images for one of my own vehicles that I have sold prior. Item number: 274345954590.
This type of activity was particularly prevelelnt last year whereby several listings were appearing with my images for vehicles that were not available. Customers alert me when they recognise the background to the images.
In the past I have just reported each time and usualy within a few hours their listings have been taken down.
My main concern is that whilst this advert remains 'live' I dread to think how many individuals are falling for this scam and losing thousands.
Ebay can't just take your word for it that an advert is 'fraudulent'. You could be a competitor trying to bring the seller down (which appears to be the case, as you've got your customers involved too), or simply a vindictive buyer.
If the seller is a UK business, report the advert to Trading Standards. TS will investigate, and advise Ebay accordingly.
And if the seller is indeed committing fraud, report it to the police.
