Hi I am looking for advice on how to convert my kindle to accept books from sellers other than Amazon as part of my campaign to bring the evil Amazon empire to its knees. Or should I just bite the bullet and buy a kobo on ebay of course.

Google search for a program Calibre eBook Management - it's free.
You can then download eBooks in any format, from any seller, to your PC and upload them to your Kindle.

I was expecting Creeky's post to question the use of the word "evil" in conjunction with Amazon, not give advice on using the evil Google. 😉

I use both sites regularly but I don't have a contract with the evil Vodafone 😄

Are you trying to download via your Kindle? only I download ebooks direct to my p.c from other sellers then connect the Kindle to the p.c and I am away.
