Update on our grinning friend:
Who needs enemies when we have a court that blocks the government that was voted in by the people?

Nothing to do with Qatada being tortured 😉

Will he ever be kicked out - yes
When is a different matter

cke #10 - Yes most would remember that case. Then he was not human IMO.
Rather than start a new thread: Richard Dart a white Muslim convert was jailed for 6 years today - which should mean about 4 years. He also refused to go in the dock saying: '' Only Allah can judge me.'' All three having admitted conduct in preparation for terrorism.
You were judged Richard... at least he gave you 6 years. IMO you three and any terrorist no matter what faith or belief should never see liberty again. How can we release uncontrollable MONSTERS ever?
Matter yes.
Richard Dart, matters just a little more IMO. This traitor who not that long ago would have been hung for treason. As it is this monster will be out amongst us in a few years. Can anyone really believe he will ever work again? And how on earth can he ever be trusted.
What lessons are they learning? As we have another suspected terrorist incident tonight in south - east London.

Turkey: "Blasphemous" writer gets 13 months in jail
TURKISH WRITER SEVAN NISANYAN
Thirteen months in prison for blasphemy. This was the court sentence passed by an Istanbul court today, against Sevan Nişanyan, a Turkish writer and journalist of Armenian origin, accused of publishing an article on his blog last September that was considered to be offensive towards the prophet Mohammed. In a blog post titled, “[We] need to fight hate speech”, Nişanyan, 57, wrote: “Making fun of an Arab leader who claimed he contacted Allah hundreds of years ago and received political, financial and sexual benefits is not hate speech.” He added: “It is an almost kindergarten-level test of what is called freedom of expression.” After the sentence was passed, Nişanyan republished the incriminating text on his blog, adding: “Let’s share the article that was sentenced to 13-and-a-half months at the Istanbul 10th Criminal Court for insulting religious bla-bla.”

You say the government was voted in by the people. Not so.
Most people don't vote in elections. That's because most people aren't fools.
They can see what's going on, and refuse to have any part of it.
The British people can smell a big fat rat.

Shall I tell you what makes me chuckle about all this?
But first, let me see if I have got the story more or less straight.
Qatada was convicted "In absentia" by a Jordanian court for crimes committed there. He slung his hook to the UK and now refuses to go back to Jordan to face the music 'cos he says that he is scared that testimony obtained by torture will be used against him.
Is that about it?
So here's the thing. How come he thinks the Jordanians are tricky enough to obtain evidence against him by using torture, yet at the same time, honest enough to say that no evidence obtained by torture would be used to convict him in a Jordanian court ..... and mean it. That's a very narrow band of honesty.

One has happened Stevie, (in the original trial), the other, (a future trial), they say it won't happen.
Would you trust them?

The crime of Blasphemy was only abolished in the UK in 2008

It is so. Who voted them in then? Apparently enough did.
'Of course most people aren't fools'
But they were taken for fools by Blair with his 13 year open door policy for VOTES!
A policy that was unannounced. They can see what's going on only when policies are announced.
'A big fat rat' Yes more than one. Blair, and most of his lot. Cameron, and most of his lot IMO.
#29 Yes and faces must be covered. Not for much longer I would think if our politicians get some b-l-s.!!!
And Drummer Lee Rigby (R.I.P.) did not insult Islam.

😄 Update:
Qatada 'is to be booted out by Sunday'
Ah but Security Minister James Brokenshire says: ''further steps remain, our focus is on seeing Abu Qatada on a plane to Jordan at the earliest opportunity.''
And someone else says there are still legal areas to overcome :^O:^O;-)..
And if he does go all our problems are solved aren't they???

Waves to merehazel! 😄
Sadly he will be hailed as a hero and A. N. Other will take his place.
This is why our "secret services" like to keep the enemies close, they are a known quantity that will lead them to others, once the "ring leaders" are removed they'll have to start all over again with an unknown quantity.

#34 Hello Mitz 😄
Yes, very good point.
However expensive, if it saves one innocent life then it should be done.
But hopefully if someone comes in on an illegal passport again, as he did, our soft lot might have learnt a lesson? I very much doubt it though. It seems they are hell bent on ignoring our people, and filling their boots.
'They are a known quantity that will lead them to others'
Yes, I was just looking at the T&Is picture in #29 and without doubt they could have started with that lot. As far as I know not one was arrested. IMO they should have deported the lot. And that I'm sure most of us would have wanted.
An incitement to commit murder, meant with every fibre of their being. And yet they are allowed to walk off home and live next door to ANYONE!!!
