Two bidders on puzzle - current bidder has NO history!

One of my items picked up two bids.  Methinks Yippee.  Looked a little closer.  Been a member for two years with NO BID HISTORY.  :_| :_|  Why do I get landed with these people?  With a no bid history sitting dormant for over two years, what's the betting he doesn't even know how to pay?  Cynical?  YES!  Very!  Alright, so we've all got to start somewhere, but I'm not banking on him paying me,   The problem is, there's no safety net - you can't pick and choose your bidders.  Am I being unduly pessimistic?

I wonder how many 0 feedback bidders who place a bid and are immediately outbid, could also have been a member for some time without actually winning any auctions.

That is very true, unless I have good reason to think otherwise, I always assume the person I am dealing with is open and honest and oddly enough they usually are.

It makes life so much more pleasant.

#8  Yes, You are, of  course 100% correct.  I remember getting my certificate for ten sales - I was so proud, I sellotaped it to the wall!  I wonder whether they still do it.
