"You people will never be safe.
Remove your Government they don't care about you.
Get rid of them.
Tell them to bring our Troops back so all can live in peace.
So leave our lands so we can all live in peace"
The law of treason is still in force, so why don't we use it?
This law says that People have a duty to be loyal to the Country that confers Citizenship, upon them, and in return for this loyalty the State will protect and support them.
Well the UK certainly does that with generous State handouts.
Drummer Lee Rigby's killers regard what they did as an act of Holy war.
They are actually however, waging a war on their own People, as well as Britain, an act which is so obviously treason. One of the alleged killers was born British, the other is a naturalised Briton.
By the very nature of their shocking crime, and urging people to go against the democratically elected Government of their Country, they should, and must, face charges of Murder, and Treason.
This was no ordinary murder, oh no, it was the murder of a man who was targeted solely because he was a member of our armed forces, a soldier doing his duty, and serving his Country.

ronnybabes, my point about mentioning "high treason" as opposed to any old treason is that if one does attempt to kill the Queen or any Royal then being accused of treason is appropriate. I'm not sure in this case it's appropriate to charge him with treason, murder will do, otherwise all the people involved in 7/7 should have been accused of treason and they were not.
I'm quite sure the words he spoke on camera were no different to those spoken in other places behind closed doors by similarly minded people.

That was the point of the thread.
We just don't use the charge of "treason" anymore.
Maybe we should?

the problem is that what Lee Rigby's killers did wasn't treason - if they were charged with treason they would be found not guilty - hardly the outcome any of us would want.

The killing of Lee Rigby is just a part of the overall treason scenario.
Murder is murder, and should be one of the related charges.
Treason is the most likely reason for this offence. Let a Jury decide.

Ronny there are just five treasonable offences
"when a man doth compass or imagine the death of our lord the King, or of our lady his Queen or of their eldest son and heir"
"if a man do violate the King’s companion, or the King’s eldest daughter unmarried, or the wife of the King’s eldest son and heir"
"if a man do levy war against our lord the King in his realm, or be adherent to the King’s enemies in his realm, giving to them aid and comfort in the realm, or elsewhere"
"if a man slea the chancellor, treasurer, or the King’s justices of the one bench or the other, justices in eyre, or justices of assise, and all other justices assigned to hear and determine, being in their places, doing their offices"
"if any person or persons ... shall endeavour to deprive or hinder any person who shall be the next in succession to the crown ... from succeeding after the decease of her Majesty (whom God long preserve) to the imperial crown of this realm and the dominions and territories thereunto belonging"
The only section that could possibly be used is the third but that falls down because in legal terms a state of war can only occur between nations.
Any charge of treason would never reach a jury - it would be dismissed by the judge long before it got to that stage.

Treason for doing in Osborne ? I think you'd more than likely be awarded The Humanitarian Nobel Peace Prize

With the best Secret Service in the World, why doesn't the UK Government just say they are going to high security solitary lock-down. Then, in a couple of weeks, take them out the back and hang the pigs. Problem solved. Put them back in their cells and voila, poor souls obviously couldn't live with the guilt, taxpayer saves millions in looking after them and they don't get to die as martyrs either. Quick cremation and it's all over. I'd lend them my matches.

So be careful. They're watching us.
Well look around you when on a thread like this. That will give you a clue.
They will always come out on a thread like this. (wink).

I would have put MOST of them to rest about 17 years ago. If only we could start again from then. Without Blairs, 13 year open door policy on immigration. (yes, I know that's what you mean).
Any way. Hello spawn - Sorry, I missed this. Been counting my lottery win money. (taken me 3 weeks). Don't tell anyone but Rose, because I'm sure she is the only one that wont want any.
.
Here grab some of this little lot your self. .........I said some! Hands of Tommy.

well done mere if you did win big ,good for you 🙂
I was thinking more on the gold they robbed off us all to have them tried and hung or beheaded, but their open door policy can be thrown in as well so long as they both die publicly 🙂
