Tony Blair, launches an extraordinary attack on ...

...  'nasty and unpleasent' Ukip, as he urges Miliband to 'stand up' to  Farage and his own MPs over Europe and immigration.

Mr Blair, who opened our doors to immigrants from the whole world for 13 years without consulting our people. And I cant recall him talking about it?  But he can about this. I  'don't' wonder why?

How can this hypocritical money grabbing excuse for a human being show his face and proclaim that Ukip is nasty and unpleasant?

Ukip has ''no  solutions to the problems of the 21st Century'', Blair said.  And that the EU needed to ''Iisten and lead'' in response to the outcome of the elections, which saw a rise in support for anti-EU parties, and stop doing ''irritating things''.

Mr Blair, also said it must also ''confront and expose'' parties like UKIP. ''You look under that UKIP facade and you see something pretty nasty and unpleasant,'' he told BBC radio.

Yes, considering the damage Blair, has caused to our international reputation and economy he should go and scurry back down the hole he came from.

He, is the person most responsible for almost all of  this country's woes.

Nothing sadder than a despotic, egotistical, has been; who ( despite professing to be a christian ) thinks he's gods gift to the human race............still looking for his own private little empire to run. A typical socialist, with a communist view on socialism..........."All men are equal........except Me Me Me Me".

Blair and Brown had a very simple plan.

Encourage more and more chavs to live on the dole, and breed more and more.

Import millions of foreigners to do the jobs that the layabout scroungers wouldn't.

They were all likely to vote Labour: scroungers, their kids, and the immigrants. Perfect for the Labour agenda.

Yes, it was very well said. papko.

And and they estimated that about 18,000 would come in. So who was counting once it got passed 18,000?

Well... you would at least have thought someone would have said something after say (being tolerant) at worst 30,000.  No, the truth is yet to be exposed.  And unbelievably they let it get passed millions?

As Sir Arthur says.  They were all likely to vote Labour.   Yes, the clues are there.

Cameron says 'too much bossiness from Brussels'. He does NOW!!!  why not say it before Cameron?  Agreeing Farage, are we? hoping some of the limelight might brush off on YOU?

Hmmmm Blair, needs to remember that the millions who voted UKIP, are by his definition nasty and unpleasant too.

Yes... Three blind mice see how they run.

The man is a complete hypocrite. He opened the door for thousands of immigrants to flood in, and is now sneering at UKIP. We heard enough rhetoric from him when he was in power, perhaps he'd like to keep it in check now that he isn't. Or is that too much to ask of him ?

Tony Blair......the absolute nerve of that man to stick his head up over the parapet now....it might be better for him if he kept himself out of sight, and his mouth firmly shut.
And Cameron wants to give us a Referendum in 2017? That's three years away. There have been thousands apon thousands of immigrants to this country in the last three years, so you could count on that number again over the next three years, and more if there is any possibility of the gates being firmly closed. Dave's still not getting it.

The whole point is that none of them are getting it.  Right across Europe the establishment don't get it.  People want to be listened to, consulted on changes which affect them, be governed by people they know and elect and can talk to.  Doesn't happen here, doesn't happen there and certainly doesn't happen with the EU set up.  Just look at immigration - if every immigrant coming in at the moment was earning enough to pay the higher tax rate there would still be issues as to providing services(only it would be the private school system in collapse!) and housing.  It is the numbers pure and simple  - yes for some it is a race issue but most people wouldn't have noticed if the flood was a moderate trickle!

The rise of Ukip is about trust.  We can't trust any of them to represent us, we know we can't, therefore why not give the new kid on the block a go, after all they haven't been in a position to break any of their promises  - yet!!!

As to Tony Blair - one look at his self satisfied smirk when he first appeared on our TV screens was enough for me. It is about time he learned to keep stum.

Hope you are well.

Yes, astro, in 2017? That is one of the many reasons why UKIP has done so well. As you say what HE wants to give us. Not what WE wanted years ago. And not even NOW. Oh, his naughty people how dare they expect attention NOW?

This man Blair has a lot to answer for. His government of 1997 to 2010 will be remembered above all by its unprecedentedly fast rate of immigration into our country. And it is true some three million immigrants were added to the British population.

For what reason?  We for decades have had on average 2.5 million unemployed.  Was it to keep that average going?

Or was it as someone said: ''using immigration to turn Britain into a nation of Labour voters?'' It certainly was IMO.

No, we certainly cant blame the immigrants. But we certainly blame Blair, & Co,  And now Cameron, and Co.

None! of the 3 main parties have (or will) listen to our people.  If they had they would not be in the ''desperate'' state they are in now.

Yes, put more simply:

No sooner do we think it (he) has gone, he reappears in an even more deadly strain than before in a speach last night with a scathing attack on Farage and UKIP again. Its shameful and embarrassing to think he was once Prime Minister.

I think Nigel, will be pleased that this arrogant selfish er... chap has NOT kept his mouth shut. Almost as pleased as Cleggy, NOT keeping his mouth shut.

Cheap, skilled labour coming in from abroad will and has been snapped up by employers who have always resented any investment training. Young people will not learn new skills if they are never given training oppertunities by employers.

Ironic really, I probably support more of the individual UKIP policies than many of the sheep who did vote for them

UKIP policies I broadly agree with

Privatisation of the NHS where possible by putting out to tender medical services.

Opt out of NHS by way of vouchers

Education vouchers enabling parents to remove their children from the state education system

Student grants to replace loans for those attending university

Introduction of 'workfare'

HS2 high speed rail link including one from London to Exeter

Remove 'section 106' requirements for the inclusion of social housing in new building developments.

Abolish business rates on empty properties

Build new nuclear power stations

Introduction of smoking rooms in pubs, clubs and public buildings

My problem is that I believe withdrawal from the EU would wipe out all the benefits accruing from the above
