The whole point is that none of them are getting it.  Right across Europe the establishment don't get it.  People want to be listened to, consulted on changes which affect them, be governed by people they know and elect and can talk to.  Doesn't happen here, doesn't happen there and certainly doesn't happen with the EU set up.  Just look at immigration - if every immigrant coming in at the moment was earning enough to pay the higher tax rate there would still be issues as to providing services(only it would be the private school system in collapse!) and housing.  It is the numbers pure and simple  - yes for some it is a race issue but most people wouldn't have noticed if the flood was a moderate trickle! 

 

The rise of Ukip is about trust.  We can't trust any of them to represent us, we know we can't, therefore why not give the new kid on the block a go, after all they haven't been in a position to break any of their promises  - yet!!!

 

As to Tony Blair - one look at his self satisfied smirk when he first appeared on our TV screens was enough for me. It is about time he learned to keep stum.
