..... and possibly Morrison's.

For giving their store assistants a pay rise for keeping the shelves filled and the checkouts open through all the problems we've had with Covid.  I'd say the same about Morrison's but their reckoning was so convoluted that in the end I wasn't so sure that they intend to pay their staff any more than they did before.

I wonder if the other super-market chains will follow suit?  They should.

As should amazon, ebay, and the other on-line giants, they all did very well out of the pandemic.

I did see a suggestion that shop staff should be up with care workers when it comes to the vaccine.

I doubt that will be the case though.

Retail staff should be up there with bus drivers and train drivers and everyone else who faces the public every day. They all deserve a pay rise. 

Not so GPs because at my practice they are all in hiding and will not see patients at all.
