No thread about this on here, so I thought I'd start one. 

My starter for ten is this: Okay, I'm not saying anybody is making anything up, but why did all these people wait till he was dead before accusing him of all this stuff? And quite frankly, now he's dead, what can come from it other than tarnishing a reputation that was spotless and upsetting his grieving family even further. Seems basically wrong to me. Why does someone always have to bring down our heroes and role models? They should have done what they're doing now ten years ago or not at all if you ask me.

Cardinal Keith O'Brien, Britain's most senior Roman Catholic cleric, resigned after admitting sexual misconduct

There was a widespread cover-up of child sex abuse in the Scottish Catholic church, it has been alleged.

Scots bishops reportedly knew of at least 20 allegations of abuse between 1985 and 1995.

The Church in Scotland insists child protection procedures have since improved dramatically and such cases are now rare.

Has anybody else noticed that there have been no arrests of women for these sex crimes?

OK, it's fair to say that male's far outnumber females when it comes to this sort of thing but surely there have been a few women up to similar tricks, or is it just that no boys want to report roving hands.

ROLF Harris has been arrested on suspicion of sex offences, The Sun can reveal.

The 83-year-old TV star and singer was held over historic sex abuse allegations by police from the inquiry set up following the Jimmy Savile scandal.

Senior detectives have been investigating Harris, who once painted the Queen, for more than four months.

Operation Pallial, the Inquiry into abuse of residents of North Wales care homes in 70s & 80s, total secrecy, one arrest (unnamed)

The difference,

The 1st is about celebrities

The 2nd is about Political figures

(already had 2 inquiries into this, both little more than cover ups)

Why no new Inquiry into the late 70's/80s 'Elm tree guest house' (Barnes) scandal ??  another involving Politicians, Civil Servants , Police, Lawyers, Judges & very well know Celebrities

New Savile abuse victims are STILL coming forward a year after paedophile presenter's reign of terror was exposed

• Police say Jimmy Savile abused at least 1,300 people over 54 years
• Children's charity NSPCC says more victims are still coming forward
• Charity has also seen an overall surge in the number of child victims of sexual abuse and **bleep** contacting them 
  
• The number of cases it is referring to police and social services is up 84%
  

The NSPCC is still receiving calls from victims of Jimmy Savile a year on from the TV documentary which exposed the serial paedophile’s reign of terror.

Police say there the former BBC broadcaster abused at least 1,300 people over 54 years - but the children’s charity said more were still coming forward.

I WAS TOTALLY SHOCKED BY THIS!!!!!.

But i know after getting older and wiser how people can be Cunning, Deceiving, Clever and very clever at disguising their real intentions to such a lot of people!!!.

Murderers and phsycopaths can go on for years, killing, and having a wife and children at home and friends who know nothing about their activities. And if people do know they can be too terrified to either acknowledge it or believe it!!, so they bury it and try to forget its happening. Women and men carry on staying with abusive cheating partners keeping quiet for the sake of their lives or their childrens lives!!!.

I find this so CHILLING though, so CHILLING.

And yes these children did say things and they were ignored by people who were there to protect them. the men who worked with Savile and the like knew things were going on, but for their own jobs and wellfare probably decided to say nothing.

More and more of this is coming out of the woodwork and yes some is made up but i think most are TRUE. DISGUSTING and PERVERTED.

Is this how the world is turning the human race???. frightening.

It's many, many years since a DJ on the local radio station told me that the "latest named person" wasn't one to get "too close to" if you didn't care to be errrr......... manipulated........
