Have you watched the first programme? No? Me neither!
When I saw the (umpteen) trailers for the programme it made me determined not to watch it because the subject matter was bad enough but the demenour of the "presenter" was a definite no-no.
It seems I wasn't wrong as my misgivings seem to have been borne out by the writer of this review:-
When I saw the very first trailer I thought of our old friend IKWIS (I Know What I Saw) and had fond memories of the RT threads on the subject of years back. Time IKWIS put in an appearance I think? Here he is:-
Now in these days of cameras and camera phones everywhere, why is it that there's not loads of good, clear pics of the things people insist on refering to as "UFO's" when they really mean "alien spacecraft"?
Now I'm not saying there's no other intelligent forms of life in the Universe because there's billions of Stars and on the balance of probabilities there's bound to be other Planets like ours on which life forms exist and some of them are bound to be intelligent.
What I am saying is that if there are intelligent forms of life capable of space travel, they must have better knowledge than us. That being so, why would they come here unless they either wanted to say "Hello" or wanted something from this Planet?
Now we have only had a technological age for a short time but at the moment we can find out all sorts of things at great distances from Stars and Star systems so don't you think an alien form of life at least as intelligent as us would have the same capability?
A much further advanced bunch of aliens would have greater/better capability and would only want to come here if they wanted something, be that contact or some material or other.
We've been throwing out radio signals for 100 years letting aliens "out there" know we're here but up to now there's been no contact? Why not?
As to the "sightings" of "UFO's", what people have seen are certainly unidentified but as to them being alien spacecraft, it's not logical.
Half-seen objects and lights-in-the-sky are all deemed to be such craft but most are aircraft and the rest a jumbled mass of reflections, Moon-dogs, Sun-dogs, Meteors and mirages aided and abetted by cloud formations.
After all this time, you'd think that if such craft existed, by now, someone, somewhere would have come up with some really good pics or video and settled any argument about their particular sighting?
