His opinion.

Opinion of someone else.
Mr Shah's comments were criticised by Pete Saunders, chief executive of the National Association of People Abused in Childhood.
Speaking to Radio 5 live, Mr Saunders said: "I'd like to meet with Eddie, and to have him explain to me, and maybe explain to some rape victims, what he means by 'raped raped', because my understanding is there is rape, or there is not rape, and rape is always a crime."
His views were echoed by Jim Gamble, the former chief executive of Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP).
Mr Gamble said: "At the end of the day, a child is a child, and the law is configured to protect a child, and there's an assumption made that adults, you know, will respect that, because they will want to protect children themselves."
Your opinion?.

I think wht he said was highly offensive and most unwise.
Sometimes the choice of words make what was said mean something entirely different.
He might just as well have said "They're asking for it" because that's how what he said comes across?
It's life Jim, but not as WE know it.
Live long and prosper.

That's what it sounded like to me.

By 'raped raped' he probably meant where a woman is leapt on and dragged into bushes or the like, anything else not being real rape.
Unfortunately an atitude which is still all too prevalent.

His comments, which were widely published will cause further anquish to victims, particularly the young ones and those who haven't reported being raped because of the fear they would not be believed.
Cannot repeat what I said when I read them, would get me a permenant posting ban on here.

I suspect he was thinking of those under-age groupies who wanted to have sex with a 'celebrity', like this one:
'I was young and he was famous. All I cared about was that I could make my schoolfriends jealous.'

Sir A - She was a groupie long before meeting John Peel and has been living off her infamy ever since, even that story you posted , coincided with her opening up a new Hotel/Bar , she resurrected the story to get publicity for that
Then you've got Mandy Smith , a young Girl 'pushed towards' Stars by her mother and Bill Wyman fell for Her
I can see what Shah was meaning, but,
1, Either he explained it terribly or the media changed what He meant
2, He won his case, that made his point , why re-ignite the flames ?
I think most People know who Shah meant, But at the present time it's very dangerous to say anything on the subject
