Today in court Rolf sang part of Jake the peg and demonstated how to play the digeridoo, tomorrow he might do two little boys.

I would have thought he would have got at least 10 years,,, im really shocked about this. Im still just shocked and saddened as he was a celebrity i really liked. Weird,,,, my brother in Australia saw him sitting in the seats in front at a cricket match. He ran down and asked him for his autograph for his sister (me) in England, and he scribbled on a newspaper. I treasured this until over the years i lost it somewhere,,,never to be seen again. Or it got thrown with the rubbish. SPOOKY!!!!!

Great. And now we will have the endless rounds of 'I was abused by Rolf Harris' stories.....all for large amounts of money of course.
Yes, astro.
And as the vultures gather...feisty Vanessa Feltz alleges he also abused her.
Oh dear Vanessa, why not when you say it happened? Couldn't be you were waiting for his guilty verdict? And now the chance for some publicity too?
Had this story never happened...you were never going to say anything that's obvious. That's sicking oppertunism IMO. Never mind Vanessa at least there's bound to be a few bob in it for you.
And I think I may have heard right that Linda Nolan (of the Nolan sisters) has alledged he abused her too?
#237 'Will they' Yes, look see.

I can understand there may be those who were scared to come forward before the trial, after all the accused may not be found guilty, but afterwards they want to get it off their chest now they feel safer.
However I don't think I would put such as Vanessa Feltz in that category, hardly a shrinking violet.

If you click that link, it works but if you try to copy & paste it's only part of the link.

She wrote about it but didn't name him at the time nor does she appear to have informed the police early enough for her evidence to be used.
She wrote about it five months before the allegations became public.

I truly believe its just FEAR that prevents people from coming forward,,, pure and simple!. Then when others speak they will follow and speak up. Some people are like this. They have not got the courage to be the first to speak up and tell someone. i know it says above that vanessa did though, but did not name anyone.

The thought that you could speak out, your complaint then not going anywhere and that you might be reviled or ostracised because of that complaint, can act as a powerful disincentive.
