Now this is one case where I hope that an innocent either through lack of evidence or better yet totally innocent verdict is given.
Mainly because his work with children in his professional life has spanned many years the thought that he could have abused his position in that field sickens me more than the JS case & that was horrendous enough. If he is proven to be guilty then God help him !.

On the other hand, the Crown Prosecution Service has said the compensation-chasers have not made a good enough case for them to charge Freddie Starr.

This one shocked me the most,,i have always loved Rolf Harris. I thought he would be the next up!!!.

Freddie Starr is the one who i thought would be the worst. I remember watching him with Sam Fox in the show where they swap partners and go to the other ones home. Hes got a Nasty temper and he just CREEPS ME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Horrible little man.!!. Well they all are. SICKENING!!!!!.

You must be a great comfort to victims of abuse, with opinions like that it's no wonder so many are afraid of speaking out.

Perhaps you would prefer to go back to biblical days when if the victim doesn't make enough noise at the time, they can be stoned to death.

Could anyone explain how one of Stuart Hall's 'victims' was raped 16 times? surely...any person who had been raped by this man would never ever go near him again. Not even once...let alone 16 times. Strange....

In Halls case, I suppose that they're calling it that because at such a young age she was too young to "consent", sober or otherwise.

Now that he's claimed the girls "consented" I'd say he's admitted his guilt and having admitted it, he's therefore guilty. He's got a cheek claiming the girls "consented" if he plied them with drink.

Thanks Tommy, this is truly disturbing reading & he has the gall to try & excuse his behaviour , truly I feel for the girl & his poor wife ,for him nothing but contempt & loathing another poor excuse of a man.once again putting suspicion on good decent men who work with children!.

But how do you know that he is not telling the truth? That he did have an affair with the girl, but after the age of consent? if that was the case then he did not break the law, At the end of the day it is her word against his. I find it extremely hard to understand why these girls go back again and again, if they are being 'abused' or 'raped',

Hi Astro, I was a bit puzzled too, when I read he raped a girl from the age of 13, and it went on for 16 years after that.

At 13, yes , a child, but surely by the time she was getting near 30 she would know better than to go back.

I take on board your comments, I have no idea if he is innocent or not that is for the jury to decide my objection is about the mans conduct which he himself admits in a letter to the woman's father the only thing he is disagreeing with is the underage sex. Even in his letter of self loathing, he is very careful to point out his wife knows nothing about the affair. Not so much self loathing more a case of protecting your back. The woman may be getting back at him & yes why would you allow yourself to be treated in this way, I've no doubt these questions will be asked,
