Press rumour - Gerald Ratner has taken over Ebay

Heard a rumour today that Gerald Ratner had taken over at Ebay, it would certainly explain a few things.

Well Ebay are definitely "doing a Ratner" at present. I'd put money on it that he'd taken over. It's the only explanation.

Point being you are always remembered for your mistakes. Example: out of 100 people asked, how many would know he is the UK biggest online Jewelley retailer and how many would remember the gaffe?

True but I don't think he minds too much once he admitted to himself that it was his fault, it has made him a very popular after dinner speaker.
