I'm not particularly a Cricket Fan, but I have to give the Lad a mention. Such a shame, at such a young age ( 26 ) to lose his life in such a unlucky way. All sport, I guess, holds inherent dangers and having nearly been killed myself, in the past, getting hit on the Head by a Cricket Ball; I know that only too well. Sympathy to his Family and the poor Guy who bowled the Ball, it's not his fault at all; but He won't feel that way.

Yes very sad indeed and has made me question my non-use of a helmet, though I don't face the kind of bowling he was up against.

My thoughts are with his family and loved ones!

Very Sad very unlucky. Never considered a particularly dangerous sport but fitness and power levels are now so high it's a wonder we don't see more .
