Is it just me or is there some kind of conspiracy going on?

I just watched a show that I had recorded yesterday. The show was about paedophiles and what drives them. Part of it was about paedophiles that had "come out" and spoken to the cameras and reporters. It also explained how these people groomed and met youngsters after chatting online on various websites.

Now, while I appreciate that there are hundreds of websites wit cozens of chat rooms, I also know that there are ways and means of tracking certain words in such rooms. So what I can't understand is why any such chat lines are'nt nipped in the bud, users banned and reported to the police (and worse)

Over to you to show me that I'm wrong.

Try millions of websites with thousands of chat rooms. Many hiding behind many layers of security with endlessly changing passwords and logins ( the "Black Web") Who is going to police it and who is going to pay?

Also the fact that someone talks about something illegal does not mean they are a criminal. I have discussed the best way to kill someone and get away with it. It does not make me a murderer. There are websites discussing many ilegal activities, and illegal activities discussed on normal websites.

Didn't see the programme ( will look for it on catch-up) but from what I heard of Idiot Vines prog on R2 today one of the main people in the programme ( Eddie?) admitted he was sexually attracted to children but had never acted on it. Until we have thought crimes what can he be reported to the police for?

The total demonising of people with paedophilia by the press does nothing to actually increase the safety of prepubescent children.

Yes there's plenty of paedophiles out there who have never groomed anyone and never said or done anything inappropriate with anyone; what do we want to do with about them?!
