How comes all the contestants and audience are not wearing the veil, they are all Muslims, or does that just apply to Muslims in our country.    And why hold it to oppose our Miss World ?  Oppose what ?

It's a miss face clothes show contest.     And some very pretty faces indeed.

So much nicer to see what nature has achieved don't you think.........

The Veil & the Burka, nothing to do with the Koran, everything to do with Medieval Arabian lifstyle & custom, ie Wahhabism.

It is the USAs 'great' ally, Saudi Arabia who are expanding Wahhabi Islam around the World, they are also  exporting Sharia Law and guess who's paying for it, we are, through Oil. It is also Us who are paying for all these massive (Wahhabi) Mosques being built around the World (more Oil money).

Investigate nearly any of the major Islamic terrorist groups and you find ties to Saudi Arabia be it in Yemen , Northern Nigeria, Sub Sahara Africa, Southern Philippines, Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Iraq, Syria, Chechnya etc etc

Another thing to think over

Who were the most Westernised Islamic countires in the Middle East, Libya, Egypt, Iraq & Syria also the countries that voted against Saudi Arabia the most inside the Arab League

What state are those Countries in now ?

Who gains the Most = Saudi Arabia

I didn't know who she was, merehazel, but very nice!  I mightt join my wife when she watches strictly come dancing.  

We have Muslim friends, and they tell us that it is not in the Koran that women should be covered head to toe, or wear the veil.

Many Muslim women wear Western clothing with no head covering of any type - as Al has said earlier there is a general misconception that what some consider as "Muslim attire" has far more to do with cultural custom than with religion.

Just because most women who wear the niqab are Muslims doesn't mean that most Muslim women wear the niqab.

I find it amusing the Muslims who wear the traditional berka or niqab accessorised with Jimmy Choo shoes.... Prada Jeans...Louis Vuitton Handbags.. and Bvlgari watches.... with a splash of Chanel ...
