I've done a boo-boo trying to buy on eBay.

Hi all,

I wanted to buy 4 things that appear in the same category so I found the first one and thought that I would try this new fangled "Add to basket" thing. Same thing with the second and third items. On the 4th item I hit the Buy Now button expecting to see all the things that I had added to the basket just sitting there waiting to be paid for just like they would be if I was pushing a supermarket trolley up to the checkout.

So anyway, I paid for the 4th item but now I don't know how I stand with regards to the other 3 items. I mean, have I won them and if so how do I pay for them?

There should be something on your myebay page that says you have pending items in your basket.

If you cant find that, then simply add another item to your basket, anything will do, but before you pay, just delete the one you don't want.

No messages from eBay to confirm a purchase other than item 4. But it does read that I have no payments pending. So it looks like the first 3 items have not been bought.

What earthly use is the whole "Add to basket" malarkey. Was it just a script writer trying to justify his salary?
