I dont know i find being in a shop a bit boring plus with the customer service staff and the security always checking what you are doing. What do you think people?

Depends on what I am buying. For the most part, I much prefer buying online, no need to pay stupid parking fees, the petrol, or mingle with the great unwashed.
Some things though need to be seen & physically handled first.
I'm slightly worried that you seem concerned about store security checking on what you are doing. Do you wear a hoody & act suspiciously, or are you up to anything & can't get away with it?

I think ebay is a better way of shopping than visiting a shop, is it just me who think like this?
No.
eBay's chief execs and PR team will definitely think the same.

Ebay is great for collectible, obscure or obsolete stuff, the kind of stuff you can't get on the high street. If its available in a local shop, thats where I go for it. Staff are always helpful and polite. I don't have a problem with security and they don't have a problem with me.

And where an over enthusiastic assistant can suddenly appear out of the blue, with the immortal words, "Can I help" ? If you require any assistance, you ask. Simples. The mobile phone shops appear to be the worst offenders for this, with Carphone Warehouse way out in front. You hardly get over the threshold in there, until a member of staff pounces upon you.

I very rarely go in a phone shop because of this but I was on holiday, and my phoen died. So I went to carphone warehouse and for the first time ever, no one was willing to pester me with their sales tatics. I ended up with a temporary £5 phone from Argos instead!
