Well, I actually logged back in to try and find information on the latest development to be bombarded with emails warning me that I've tried to log in recently ....... Every time I log in!
And then I saw the boards have changed and ahhhhhhhh heck - I'm too old for this. For me it's a mess, it's slow, can't make sense of what I'm looking at and no more options to whizz down the page to see what I'm looking for.
ETA - and to add insult - I gort demoted - me Community Expert status has been removed - MEH!
It's been good times and ................... interesting times ....................... and I've had a blast down the years but I've been wondering about closing down at least one account and so it helps make the decision. I hardly come here any more and that's the only reason for this account. Aer will be haning up the scales and enjoying life in other ways.
You have all been amazing in so many different ways and through all the laughs and bothers, I wouldn've have missed any of it and what it gave me.
Salut! forum posters - may we meet again one day and post together in the great virtual place that will always be there.

All the best to you aerne. Nice to see you are still around, brief as it was.
I feel the same about this forum layout, as does everyone I reckon, but ebay doesn't care about 'customer' feedback, they have been told enough times.
Only being able to see one or two threads on a screen, and only one post per thread can NEVER EVER be an improvement on being able to see many threads per screen.
It's much slower, I have to wait about 12 seconds for anything to appear. Ebay rely on helpful members giving their time to help others with buying or selling problems and
Ebay claims this format is an improvement, quicker and easy to use. So, ebay, how come there are so many people, who want answers and help with such problems, posting in the wrong places - Community Updates and Round Table? Clear evidence IMO that many members are confused. There don't seem to be many answers to the questions either.
Previously posts were often moved to the correct place. Do Khoros ever look at this fail they have created?
I miss the old days when we had fun and posts were thick and fast. Could have done with something more like that during lockdown but this community platform has been going dowhill for years. Endless tinkering without improvement.
Anyone know of a good forum with lots of topics?
Take care all

Now there is a glitch. Under every single thread it says "see most recent" and it is giving the name of the same poster ..... but they haven't posted on any of the threads. It changes every few seconds to a different name throughout, i.e. after every thread. It has been siver-17, then sloanes3, now ruby*tuesday and so it goes on.
Does anything work well on here?

OMG what's happened
where am I?
where has all the discussions gone?

They exist but you have to scroll ad nauseum to find them, while ignoring the stupid suggestions for long gone and so called "related" (pfft) threads posted way back years ago like 2014 for example!
A kid could produce a better more usable platform.
Ebay asked for feedback but ignore it and there is no way they will do the sensible thing and get back the classic view. It would seem that you can't even ask questions of Khorus who 'designed' this travesty.
It is supposed to be quicker (the ebay admin claimed) but it really isnt. Much slower.

This latest glitch shows that whoever posted last has posted on every thread. Surely it's simple enough to copy the coding that existed before and worked OK?
If the "update" wasn't the final nail in the coffin of the boards, glitches like we're getting now sure will be? Now I've posted..... it'll show that I've posted on every thread or when I click "reply" I'll get "an unexpected error occurred"??????????

It's still the same this morning? Also, it takes an age to open anything or refresh the page?
