How to add 'Text' to Photos/Images on Windows 10.

Open Windows 'Photos' - select photo/image that you want to add text to - Top right hand corner click on the 3 horizontal dots (open with) - select 'Paint' confirm by clicking 'OK' (this opens 'Paint') - Select 'A' on Paint 'Tools' then click on your picture/image, this will show a size adjustable oblong area for you to enter your 'Text' & also most of 'Word' type choices eg: colour, font style & size etc...... 

Hope this is helpful, it's the way I have just started doing it - You may be able to do it direct from the 'Paint' app I'm not sure.

Glad you got a solution to your propblem. If you're very new to it all, paint is an easier option at least to begin with.
