Don't see the problem - the total prize fund will remain at 47.5% of ticket purchases.
If Camelot have got it right then they will sell more tickets which will mean more money for them and 'good' causes.
If they've got it wrong then the opposite will apply.
All the lottery really is, is a way of donating to charity and having a bit of fun at the same time. The difference between odds of ten million to one or a hundred million to one for a jackpot win is purely academic.
In the first 99.99999% of tickets won't win the jackpot in the second 99.999999%
