Help needed from Facebook "Chat" users.

Morning all,

The Boss Lady was contacted last night by a mate of hers up in Glasgae via Facebook. They spent ages trying to figure out how to get the "chat" feature up and running but with no success. Aggie can see and hear her buddy perfectly but even though Betty can see Agnes, she can't hear a word. Agnes was wondering if there is something that she needs to set up on her computer to enable Chat.

Any clues appreciated.

Is it possible that the problem is at Betty`s end, maybe she does not have her sound turned on.

Otherwise, are you sure that Agnes`s computer has a microphone.

Mike and his friend had the same problem, and ended up speaking on the phone at the same time that the visual was on.

It works, but the lip sincronisation is sometimes out.

Hi Carol.

You may have hit the nail on the head when you said about checking foramic. There is a mic set upnext to the camera at the top o the screen but it doesn'tapperto be working. I'll try with abluetooth headset and see if that'sany better.

As for the problem being at Betty's end ........ bit doubtfull because she is in contact with other friends all the time with no problems.
