No, they've spotted the all riff-raff and the unfunny wannabe commedians so they've beat it.

Hello Petal. How you doing?

Me too, Petal, the clock ticks on.
I'm here to await news as to whether our Bar will be re-opening or not. I might even set-up tent here. Who knows!

They're all watching day time television, Willums. 'Loose Women', 'Jeremy Kyle', and 'Countdown' have a lot to answer for. Mind you, if you posted a thread about Flying Saucers or Paedophiles you would soon see the place buzz.
*stifles a snigger*
I cannot, for the life of me, imagine what people see in daytime television. (elbows repeats of Jeremy Kyle orf desk) Anyway, we've got workmen in the Bar now so I have to keep my eye on the till ~ and Charlie! Toodle Pip!

Bill, you know your bar? Would it be possible to open an annexe, cos the main part is quite bulky (at 115 pages) and it will only load to early posts for me. The system insists on showing me every page in turn, rather than the last one I looked at, which is distinctly tedious!

Hello Caution. That's a bit of a pain having to sort through all those pages. I will have a word with Charlie and see if we can come up with anything. She's probably still snoring at the moment so I will have to wait and see ~ when it wakes up. I'll be in touch.

Have you tried going to "Topic options" then "Mark topic as read"?

I will try that, CD, but, even so, it is a hooooge thread. Having a new one might encourage some new participants.
No need to wake Charlie, Bill. Sleeping dogs and all that ...

Well, if you "mark topic as read", after someone has posted again and you click the thread title, it will take you to the last post you looked at.
If you've looked at all posts on a long thread, the icon on the left will show as completely Red. If you want to look at the last page of such a thread, click the double arrows after the (page) 10.
If there's a long thread with unread posts (by you) the Red icon will have a White arc on the top left of it.

The red and white bubbles don't work for me, CD. Didn't on my Macbook using FF, and don't on this Chromebook using Chrome. They show I have been in every thread, which I have not, and that there are new posts when there are not. If I am up-to-date on a thread I have actually been in, that is the only time the bubble is shaded in correctly.

Can you see the double arrows?
