What a pair of monumental hypocrites....Jack Straw and Malcom Rifkind. Jack Straw who charges £5,000 a day for his services while millions of Labour Party supporters exist on a minimum wage, and Malcom Rifkind who thinks he should have a better standard of living because of his political background. But of course...we are all in this together! I hope the electorate will take note.

I'm not sure there are many out there who would refuse the chance of earning 5k for an hours work and on that basis alone this makes both MPs representative of the public they are meant to serve. This story is the product of a sting operation, I wonder what the motivation of those responsible was. One thing for certain polititians continue to slide down the scale of respectability and none of the parties seem to have the stomach or motivation to do anything about it.

I did something about it.   I stopped voting for politicians. They only want to get your vote, then screw you.

How can you have democracy when Polititians feel the need to behave as they do? Or as I suggested earlier are they just replicating Public behaviour, It seems all professions have there bad eggs.

Well, can't you just stop bloody voting for them!

Every election, fools go into the "polling booths", and mark an "X" on a piece of paper.

What's that supposed to indicate, except stupidity?

Then the fools complain afterwards. Is that sensible?

Shouldn't your post be reported, as it's anti-semitic?

Another case of the feathering of nests. There's more crooks and shysters in Parliament, than there is in Brixton. The prison that is, and not the South London borough.

So bent, they couldn't lie straight in bed.

Whats your alternative ? and is there another country in the world who has a working example of your preferred method ?

if people who vote are "fools " , then what are people who dont vote ?

What are "bad eggs " ? dishonest people ? is that people who steal from shops ? or people who borrow money and dont pay it back ?

or people who emotionally blackmail vulnerable people for thier own ends ?

Or does dishonety start in Parliament ?

Good Question ⬆️ Strictly speaking we are not seeing theft or fraud it probably just boils down to parliamentarians acting as many would do, Morally wrong in the eyes of some not in all.
Some are undoubtedly drawn to money more than others however it is a subject likely to draw cries of stereotyping👃

By the way, what's that at the end of the word 'stereotyping' in your post ? I thought it was something on my screen.
