Ooh, they are a PITA, aren't they?

Used to live in Brighton and the noise made by the chicks in May-June at about 5 am was enough to make anyone want to invest in a shot-gun! 😉

I'm about 6 miles inland now, and though we do get them when it is very stormy out at sea, most of the time there is no problem.

They sure are! I'm only about  half a mile from the coast so they are here all the time. Last year, a guy up the road was clearing his gutter and was attacked by one. He showed me the mark on his forehead.

When I went back later he was up the ladder again with a helmet on for protection. 😮 :^O

Even our cat has been attacked by them while their young are nesting...
