Good afternoon Tressy, I presume you didn't go out shooting your own goose? 😀 Demanding kids you've got who like greasy goose eh? It was raining but it stopped while I was at the lake. Not another soul there!

Goose aint greasy if you cook it right!  *bleep* it , pour boiling water over it,  before it's first bash in oven all fat comes out for those tatties!  Kids not fussy at all to be fair.

I have 17 coming sit down 4 course meal on Xmas Eve !  Love me cookin '  ! 😍

You'll never seen a greasey roastie in my house,  nice dry, and very crisp on the outside,  nice and fluffy on the inside.

It's dry and very windy but not as cold as it's been.

Good Morning Tressy, Petal & Margie. It's quite bright here, dry but blowing a gusty gale!

 I used to have a refectory table but it wasn't big enough for 18! Well Tressy, lotsa people who like duck and goose, dunk their roasties in the fat before roasting, ugh. See this:-

Goose fat is known for its high smoking point, making it a great choice for roast potato recipes. It means that the fat in the roasting tin can get blindingly hot before the parboiled potatoes are added.
