I've just had a recorded message saying someone has tried to spend £900 on my card and all I have to do is press 1 to cancel it. 

It didn't say if it was a credit or debit card. 😁

I had the same call yesterday.   The scammers are out in force.   I had a call Monday saying they were about to charge us £800 to do with Amazon Prime and then Tuesday i had a call saying our internet had problems blah blah.   I guess its that time of year unfortunately.     These were on our landline which is not attached to any account anywhere.

They also never say who they are trying to contact 🙄
