Monday morning was a fire in the flat above me (3:30pm). Nobody was hurt and my ceiling is still up and the flat inhabitable, but looks like a bombside with the carpet still drying out and stuff move away from the damp walls (water from dousing the fire). The tennant above is homeless, and since the ownwer lives in Nw York, I agreed to be liason for workmen etc. ... it will be a few chaotic and disruptive months so you will see me even less than normal.
