I think I am CD haha.
I only got up off my computer chair at home and went crashing into the TV.
Must have caught the castor wheel, can't think what else caused it.
Foot black & blue 😢
Thanks Bidicus, hobbling about on borrowed crutches.

Now that would have caused a laugh for anyone watching (but not for you). Was the TV OK?😇

Yes TV fine...just. Was precariously balanced on edge of unit.
Can't say the same for my foot though. Such a Klutz 😬

Is it "just" a sprain? You've not had it checked out?

No I haven't had it checked out, the thought of 5 hours in A&E was not on my radar.
Swelling at a minimum so hopefully just a sprain, not getting any worse but obviously I'll keep an eye on it.

Being in A & E is no fun. For me, what makes it worse is people there acting like it's some sort of outing. One person with a problem and two or even three hangers-on with them, all laughing/talking loudly, walking around, constantly back and to the drinks/snacks machine. They make such a noise (particularly when there a few groups like that) that you can't hear when your name's called. Best place to be is near the door(s) where they come out to call you in.
You really should go and get it checked in case you have a crack/break in or around your ankle?

Yep, that's how I remember A&E...nightmare.
It's really weird as my ankle is fine & stable, no pain or swelling there, just the outside & top of foot got twisted it seems, that's where it's bruised.

Yes, those people forget there are people there who are quite ill and all that commotion doesn't help at all. I hope it goes better soon and you can resume chasing Petal and Bidicus 😀😀

Hi
Probably best to get it checked out. Do you have a local walk in centre? We have one about a mile from us.....you turn up and usually the wait is less than an hour. They do an immediate evaluation and then deal with people on a priority basis. Babies and children are usually first.

Hi glyn, our walk-in centre is now NOT a walk-in centre.
Apparently you have to phone 111 to book an appointment to be seen.
On the upside, foot seems a bit better today, can put a bit of weight on it.

Well i guess thats typical lol
Good news you are able to put some weight on it

Hi CD, yes thanks it feels a bit better today. Can put more weight on it and even managed to hobble around tescos with the aid of an elbow crutch.
Lovely bruise coming out now.

That very good, you'll soon be able to give Petal and Bidicus a run for their money?😀
