Bunny,it was sooooo fab. We tried to do the whole of the Gran Canale by vaporetto, but the wind was arctic, so we got of at St.Mark's Square. Gondolas are expensive, but in warmer weather Id'go for one...
By the time I noticed whilst checking the photos on my computer, it was
too late to exchange phone numbers - doh - also, my Italian is
non-existent...

DIXIE, I am so jealous, those masks are stunning,
I have been on a Gondola and your right very expensive and cold, OH wanted to go on , it was fine in the side streets but on the main canal(were the bridge of sighs
goes over) it was windy and very choppy.
Have you tried the cups of chocolate, I couldnt finish mine it was so thick!!!!
Then climbed the campanella tower and was nearly sick!!
Been very cold here today was going to do some gardening, but ironed instead!
