Evening all !

          I know - has been ages. Meant to pop in age ago!  Haha, Petal, read back as far as "signing the new contracts" GIf, nice to be included despite no show for so long.

 

Had a bit of a mixed time over Xmas and New Year. After taking on 15 year old Amy as long term foster cat on 21-12-17 (Celia Hammond AnimalTrust  paying for medication and special food) she had a comfy time with me. But she lost more weight instead of gaining. mid Feb. I had to bring her back, further tests revealed nothing sinister. She ate with appetite stimulants and was on painkillers, but sadly had to be put down a week later. I had a week off and was so looking forward to getting her back home.

Missing the spirited little tiger - she was tiny and looked like a kitten.

Then on the night of the Supermoon a black, 3.5 year old, female, indoor cat, dislikes other cats, was announced on the CHAT website - no photo yet. I shot off an email, they invited me over the next afternoon, I met her, and adopted her straight away. Her kennel had been covered in towels so she would not see all the other cats. Took her a few days to realise there was no other cat here (she had been "rescued" from a house with existing cat!)

And my fresh laundry is finally safe again!!!

Loves the radiator on the cold days! 

She's a cutie, very curious at times, and if unhappy, rather growls than hisses. Such a funny sound. 

So glad to finally have a furbaby again....
