Back from Venice , was like a dream - too short.
Glad the docs let me go cos' last Th. came off the bike on way to work. My knee got the brunt, so I got to travel in ambulance to A&E at King's, the one they do the documentary about on CH4. 5 stitches (2 more added by senior registrar) I hope they come out tomorrow.
Had added "speedy boarding" and with crutch lots of help. But moving about sooo slooow, on stairs mainly.

Stitches are out! looks okay! Lighter dressing, totally paranoid of moving wrongly now...and on Antibiotiks after all, now. (Hey! at least I had a chance to sample the Spritz Aperol in Venice, on Murano, to be precise)
Have to change the dressing every other day, off 'til Mo.28th. Next check-up Fr.25th...

I also have a masssive scar on my right knee...33 stitches after op when I was 17. Ugly looking thing it is, a proper butchers job 😞
Now I have scar on left elbow...8 stitches after op from Dec last year. One on my right wrist which is tiny though.
I'm beginning to look like spaghetti junction, lol :^O
