Ahem, I'm not one to argue, BUT, just a minute, the guy on the right is a young Nicolas Parsons.

A nun, badly needing to use the toilet, walked into a local pub.. The place was hopping with music and loud conversation and every once in a while the lights would turn off. Each time the lights would go out, the place would erupt into cheers. However, when the revelers saw the nun, the room went dead silent. She walked up to the bartender, and asked, "May I please use the toilet?" The bartender replied, "OK, but I should warn you that there is a statue of a naked man in there wearing only a fig leaf." "Well, in that case, I'll just look the other way," said the nun. So, the bartender showed the nun to the back of the pub. After a few minutes, she came back out, and the whole place stopped just long enough to give the nun a loud round of applause. She went to the bartender and said, "Sir, I don't understand. Why did they applaud for me just because I went to the toilet?" "Well, now they know you're one of us," said the bartender. "Would you like a drink?" "But, I still don't understand," said the puzzled nun. "You see," laughed the bartender, "every time someone lifts the fig leaf on the statue, the lights go out. Happy Friday Everybody!

Your Gif makes them look uncanny alike, must be the Genius shining through!

I never though I had to come up with a tribute for either of them so soon, and whithin a week!

Not totall happy with this one, but I wanted/needed to put up something on Deviant Art. There will be more in the weeks and month to come - 😞 - and I can only hope that's the look Alan gave the Grim Reaper!

Is there a prog that converts normal pic to that quality and detail ?

Awww, thanks Dunno, that's very kind of you. No, I did start out by hand, with a black and white pencil. Using a screen cap

from his "Epic Tea Time " video. Then scanned it in and edited a bit on Photoshop, because it did not look quite like him.

He looks serious in the original photo, but the glare here must have been added by my general mood.

Painting with a tablet and computer programm is amazing and gives you loads of possibilities - unfortunately you still have to be able to draw, the computer doesn't do it by itself 😞 

I am posting the video again -  by David Michalek ( he did several others in that technique) - it has been ages - just so entrancing to watch!

Finding the pics of Bowie & Rickman with the same expression/position was the hard part for my animation. I hope your eyes have recovered now Petal lol.
