Haha, Petal, yeah, well, 20 minutes into act 1 the lights went out. Both "Queen's" and "Gielgud" got evacuated. Smoldering cable in substation, which is "Queen's" side of the building,
We stood forever in the freezing cold by "Apollo" stage door. The staff got herded to "Prince of Wales", cast to "Prince Edward" to sit in the warmth. Evening show was as normal for both theatres.
Of course there were amazing photo oportunities.
