Evening all!
It has cooled down here as well!
*Bunny - your last you and the waving Petal I can't open when saved - I never can with files that end in (jpg.) When I changed the file name, it showed a white page as Icon,
when I kept the filename it showed Petal as Icon, but didn't open in PS or Image Ready...
Amazed that you can upload PDS to tiny pic at all - never mind that they convert, PB doesn't upload the format.
Let me try something else...

What about this one?

Yep, transparent Dixie.
I can upload trans to PB with the Gif file name which it retains.Tinypic saves all GIFS with JPG extension, but they are both transparent on my poot?

How weird and wonderful. *Bunny, your Bunny saves as Animationshop Animation with a bunny-gobbledeegook file name as TRANSPARENT - yeah!!!!
My bikergirl GIF also saves as AnimationshopAnimation - transparent - with an even more madeup file name- but what the heck - transparency is finally retained
So - saving as GIF is the trick - must admid had a quick read here, before trying...

Not sure why you can't save the images as they are both Tran/gifs.
Petal was able to save the 'Bunny' one...strange!

Haha, posted at same minute -
Oh goody!! The icons of the transparent gifs show with white background on my poot, but I put gif in the filename anyway! Might be a Windows7 thing - Gifs don't move in the Icons either!! Which is a nuissance I get round with Irfanview. Nowe can upload+ post loads of "tubes" ...

I can safe them, but they show an Icon with an empty page and won't open.
..have the same problem with pics from Twitter
with the file extension (jpg - large) - ah, I just discovered by accident that is just the Twitter pic page - I clicked on the photo again, it opened on the account page and there itwas jpg and opened when saved - I know we've gone to confused.com again...
I'l post some screen shots..in a mo....

Got there eventually.
Yes I still have XP which comes with the Windows picture & Fax viewer which opens animation pics straight away. Why it's lacking in Windows 7 is beyond me.

Just googled a query...It seems 'Tinypic' mis-names GIFS with the JPG extension.
The browser recognizes the content of the file and realizes that it should display it as GIF.
Ain't computing wonderful, lol.

Ah, don't get me even started on newer versions...hence the pagename oldversion.com - where I found the Paintshops - 'cos often old program versions are better - WindowsMoviemakers - brilliant free tool, but only the pre-7 version.
Well the learning tonight never stops.
So glad I discovered this - I also follow the Met Police helicopters and they post some stunning pics!!!
