Daily contact lenses in hand luggage

Has anyone carried daily contact lenses in hand luggage on an aeroplane. Im wondering because although they are totally sealed and unopened they do contain a small amount of sterile solution in each. I'm guessing no but just wondered if anyone has had that experience.

The standard liquids rules apply. Each solution container or lens packet must have a capacity no greater than 100ml and must fit inside your transparent liquids bag.  I have also carried liquid medication that is sealed and declared when passing through security.  This has been in 250ml bottles and has been agreed as prescription labels have been intact.

Just declare before you go through and they are usually very friendly and accommodating.
