Hello to all our old friends and newcomers alike. Welcome to Bill & Charlie's Bar - the place to meet other posters and to sit and chat while you sample your favourite tipple. Plenty to drink, lots of joking but alas no smoking.

We are open all hours (hic) and run a respectable Bar. (Although I argued with Charlie until I was blue in the face over that one!) No swearing, spitting or drun..drunk...drunken beeeehaviour (hic). We have a couple of bouncers to hand ~ she comes in on Friday nights.

Teetotallers are welcome and will be treated as normal. I jest ~ soft drinks are available at the bar along with light snacks. And finally, please use the emergency exit when Bill rambles on about the good ol' days and put plugs in your ears when Charlie 'sings'.

hi bill were you gone ?  this time of year you start thinking of mulled wine   getting into the xmas mode    the german market is on in birmingham city centre  from now till the 23rd of december over 200 stalls so any RT"s   around  well worth a visit a nice day out they do lovely mulled wines   beers    german sausage and sweets   ......................;-)

You go off to god knows where and leave us all to our own devices...no food for my mule, nor the goat...not one scrap of food in the fridge except some moldy snacks, which Suze and I created, from the last party. No water in the swimming pool. And worst of all a depleted stock of alcohol.....

So there!!!!

Now, now, Harry, don't go getting over excited :^O The Bar just needs a few refurbishments and all will be mayhem hunkydory once again. :^O

The pool is empty because there is no water in it and there was no food because there wasn't. Your mule ate Charlie's hanging baskets as well as their contents and the skeleton staff we left in attendance are skeletons ~ 'cos you shot them. 😄

As for you coffee? It was served to you in a nano second. Hope we can rely on your custom once we are ready to open our doors again for Christmas.

Must shoot orf again. Ooops, shouldn't say 'shoot'  😮

Just popped back, Rosie. I love the run up to Christmas too. We have a French (pffft) market here at the mo. I have to say it is rather good despite it being from over there!

I think you're right, Algas. Unless I can persuade Harry to get an artificial mule instead.

Her current mule eats just about anything in sight though. Had Charlie's earrings, it did ~ mine too. :O:^O

I should have known, shouldn't I, Caution! :^O  Not even I can drag her away from her tennis! But I have decided to like tennis too and have bought myself a bat and some netty stuff to erect in the garden.

Im ok ish Bill, wont bore you with the details but had a close shave with a nasty hospital bug called klebsiella, so what should have been a routine op ended up pretty drastic, getting better now though, thanks for asking :-x
