Hello to all our old friends and newcomers alike. Welcome to Bill & Charlie's Bar - the place to meet other posters and to sit and chat while you sample your favourite tipple. Plenty to drink, lots of joking but alas no smoking.

We are open all hours (hic) and run a respectable Bar. (Although I argued with Charlie until I was blue in the face over that one!) No swearing, spitting or drun..drunk...drunken beeeehaviour (hic). We have a couple of bouncers to hand ~ she comes in on Friday nights.

Teetotallers are welcome and will be treated as normal. I jest ~ soft drinks are available at the bar along with light snacks. And finally, please use the emergency exit when Bill rambles on about the good ol' days and put plugs in your ears when Charlie 'sings'.

An Englishman, Irishman and a Scotsman are on a desert island, walking along the beach.

The Englishman finds an old lamp and picks it up...and gives it a rub....

A genie pops out and says "thank you for releasing me I'll grant you each one wish."

The Englishman says "I wish I was in Bill's and Charlie's bar, sipping a nice gin and tonic"

The genie waves his hand and the Englishman is gone.

The Scotsman says "I wish I was in Bill's and Charlie's bar sipping a double whiskey".

The genie waves his hand and the Scotsman is gone.

The Irishman says "I'm really lonely now....I wish the others were back here". 🙂

Oh OK - I confess .... the only other pic I had handy was a G&T and you can't see the gin :^O

I've just been looking at bar jokes on the internet. :_|  Not inspired to C&P any yet.

Have that armagnac ^^^ with your coffee harry. Bill hasn't snaffled it. I'm having a nightcap. So fed up with my work - it's taking ages.

Not sure if I will by end of Friday, but possibly by a week on Monday morning. Hope that will be OK as I doubt they will read it until the Monday. I have to find someone with an A3 scanner. I've been putting off buying an A3 printer/scanner for ages. 

I've just made a liquer coffee with decaff. Without cream for you, cream on top for me. I've got white lips now! No pic -sorry - daren't wander off to get one as back downstairs on my old laptop.
