Hello to all our old friends and newcomers alike. Welcome to Bill & Charlie's Bar - the place to meet other posters and to sit and chat while you sample your favourite tipple. Plenty to drink, lots of joking but alas no smoking.

We are open all hours (hic) and run a respectable Bar. (Although I argued with Charlie until I was blue in the face over that one!) No swearing, spitting or drun..drunk...drunken beeeehaviour (hic). We have a couple of bouncers to hand ~ she comes in on Friday nights.

Teetotallers are welcome and will be treated as normal. I jest ~ soft drinks are available at the bar along with light snacks. And finally, please use the emergency exit when Bill rambles on about the good ol' days and put plugs in your ears when Charlie 'sings'.

A friend of mine went to Germany some years ago and used the opportunity to practice the German language he'd been taught.

He went into a butcher's shop in Berlin and in his best German he asked for "Two kilos of sausage and a bedside table lamp!" :^O

The butcher couldn't stop laughing, but apologised after :^O

Wonders what translator Bill is using, it reads "oh god really, thunder and lightening rain, we need some of that down here"

But saying that I struggled at times when I live in Germany for a few years, they tend to do a phrase at times where we do a sentence.

Anyway Bill, I have a question, I am trying to remove the date from my sunset piccie and I cant seem to get the photo editing service to do it, I am using the cameras own editing system that came with it - Samsung.

Please help me.

I use Paint Shop Pro for everything I do, Lin. It has an option called 'push' which pushes the surrounding colour over it and hides it.

Good luck with the canvas.
