Hello to all our old friends and newcomers alike. Welcome to Bill & Charlie's Bar - the place to meet other posters and to sit and chat while you sample your favourite tipple. Plenty to drink, lots of joking but alas no smoking.

We are open all hours (hic) and run a respectable Bar. (Although I argued with Charlie until I was blue in the face over that one!) No swearing, spitting or drun..drunk...drunken beeeehaviour (hic). We have a couple of bouncers to hand ~ she comes in on Friday nights.

Teetotallers are welcome and will be treated as normal. I jest ~ soft drinks are available at the bar along with light snacks. And finally, please use the emergency exit when Bill rambles on about the good ol' days and put plugs in your ears when Charlie 'sings'.

Good afternoon ~ the Bar is open and the cellar is flooded full of rainwater the best beer in town. 😐

I will be dressing up as Santa this year and there will be a 'Happy Hour' between 5pm and 5.10pm ~ all drinks (help!) ...will be hal...half price! :_|

If you would be so kind to get everything ready for a fresh pot of coffee, I'll be in later after I've been shopping with daughter number 1.

In the meantime I will leave the mule in the garden, as they have banned him from Matalan for eating their X-mas decorations.

Hmmmmm...I think you better make a new pot Bill.

Things seemed to go fine, went to Matalan and bought some nice things for my daughter and even found something for myself. 🙂

Coming back my daughter got into an argument through the phone with boyfriend, so that went on for quite a while..tears, screaming etc :_|...Eventually it calmed down.

Then I started making the tea. While doing the preparations two friends came in to drop something off. I put the carrots on and told them to sit down for a minute. They were stressing out as a client was refusing to pay them for a years work :_|, so we listened....then a burning smell....forgotten the carrots. :_|

rescued them more or less and friends left.

We had our tea after 8 o'clock :_|. I don't have the energy to tidy the tip in the kitchen.

And then people wonder what you're doing all day when not on here.....:^O

Well Rosie..you might not, but he's a sensitive soul and even a grin might hurt his little heart......or just turns him psycho....

and you know what happens then, don't you...before you know it he jumps into your bathroom while you're having a nice shower...we don't want anything like that to happen do we now....

But if you are willing to take the risk....I'll order a few boxes just in case.....B-)
