Hello to all our old friends and newcomers alike. Welcome to Bill & Charlie's Bar - the place to meet other posters and to sit and chat while you sample your favourite tipple. Plenty to drink, lots of joking but alas no smoking.

We are open all hours (hic) and run a respectable Bar. (Although I argued with Charlie until I was blue in the face over that one!) No swearing, spitting or drun..drunk...drunken beeeehaviour (hic). We have a couple of bouncers to hand ~ she comes in on Friday nights.

Teetotallers are welcome and will be treated as normal. I jest ~ soft drinks are available at the bar along with light snacks. And finally, please use the emergency exit when Bill rambles on about the good ol' days and put plugs in your ears when Charlie 'sings'.

We can revive the Fick if you like. As you wasn't around much there wasn't much point posting on it for me.

Sometimes it's good to detox from the forums....you get much more done. 🙂

So you're still struggling with your computer? It's time you throw that thing through your neighbours window. :^O

How's the weather at your end? Have you had some ME time yet?

Only the old puter for the software on it. But what I was doing is finally done. I'm on my new puter now, but having dreadful problems with the internet connection in the last fortnight. I'm going to try an extension cable to move the modem or whatever it's called, but if that doesn't work I'll have to get a man in to sort it.

Detox is an apt word!  I've had some me sleep time as I'd overdone it. Before midnight for a few nights and one night at 7pm! (though I woke up at 11pm for a few hours).  

The weather has been great. Couple of cloudy days recently and some showers, but generally good.

I need to get to bed a bit earlier tonight. I didn't have much sleep lately and have been very busy.

I'm running a bath now, will have one coffee after that and then to bed with a book.

I'm glad you caught up on some sleep. I was afraid you was really overdoing it with the all-nighters...but needs must..I know.

The weather is unstable here....one moment sunshine, next showers....but it could be worse I guess.

Anyway...I'm going in the bath....might still catch you in a bit...if not....take care and I'll catch up with you soon. 🙂

I know my habits make no sense Caution, but after about 35 years of drinking coffee and smoking is doesn't have much effect on my sleep anymore...plus I drink my coffee pretty weak anyway.

It is on the menu, Phil, but it's not for me I'm afraid. I just ask for a fry-up though to irritate Charlie! She'd have me eating lettuce and stuff like a rabbit if I let her. :^O   A man has to put his foot down, y'know :^O
