Hello to all our old friends and newcomers alike. Welcome to Bill & Charlie's Bar - the place to meet other posters and to sit and chat while you sample your favourite tipple. Plenty to drink, lots of joking but alas no smoking.

We are open all hours (hic) and run a respectable Bar. (Although I argued with Charlie until I was blue in the face over that one!) No swearing, spitting or drun..drunk...drunken beeeehaviour (hic). We have a couple of bouncers to hand ~ she comes in on Friday nights.

Teetotallers are welcome and will be treated as normal. I jest ~ soft drinks are available at the bar along with light snacks. And finally, please use the emergency exit when Bill rambles on about the good ol' days and put plugs in your ears when Charlie 'sings'.

We have had lovely sunshine today, yesterday was stuck in the depths of sea mist/fog all day, drove to Ryde for the Island Games and they had blue skies and sunshine, strange.

Hubby is now in N.Zealand finsihing off the sale of business and then we go over to visit in summer holidays, and look at houses to buy.

Yup  talula-tulip.we've had gorgeous weather too. Bit warm for my liking but its been ok.

The grdn will need waterng if we dont get ny rain but i think its due tonight then another blistering day tomorow.

Bill, yes I am ok, thank you for asking. I  have had to do some serious soul searching over the last couple of weeks, what is best ya know the stuff, do we stay or go kinda thing.

Have family here and there, so difficult one to slice really. But will see how it is when go over to house hunt. Have told him I want spacious inside and lots of land and panoramic views outside:^O
